We are here to ENCOURAGE SPORT in our region…
Sport Tynedale is a voluntary organisation that offers small grants to affiliated organisations within West Northumberland to support:
- Individuals to develop as participants
- Volunteer coaches to undertake formal training
We also organise the annual Sport Tynedale sports awards and run a series of CPD workshops to support coaches.
Who can join?
This is open to any sports clubs, schools, town or parish councils and any organisations that provide voluntary sporting activities in West Northumberland.
How much does it cost?
For sport clubs below is a guideline of the cost based on the size of your club.

| Small | Up to 25 | £10 | 2 |
| Medium | 26-49 | £20 | 3 |
| Large | 50 + | £30 | 4 |
